Daniel MoradLead Driver | Platinum Class
The Canadian-born driver was the Rotax Max Challenge World Champion in 2010, he won the Formula BMW USA Championship while being a member of the Red Bull Junior Formula 1 Team and was in the 2006 Bridgestone Racing Series. Morad also competed in the A1GP Series which was known as the World Cup of Motorsports.
Michael de QuesadaDriver | Platinum Class
Michael hails from Tampa, Florida. Born October 29, 1999, he is the youngest member of our team. He is currently competing in the GT3 Cup Challenge USA in the Gold class. Michael had an outstanding year in 2015 with Porsche Centre Oakville/Alegra Motorsports in which he secured 8 podium finishes and completed the season only a few points behind the lead.
Tim SandersonDriver | Masters Class
Tim Sanderson, from Pickering, Ontario. As a successful commercial real estate executive, he made the jump to join the IMSA Ultra 94 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada in 2012. Driving the number 7 car in the Masters Class. He brings a wealth of motorsport experience to the table.
Francesco PolicaroGeneral Manager
General Manager of Porsche Centre Oakville, Francesco threw his hat into the racing ring in 2015. Porsche Centre Oakville had only been in operation for about a year before Francesco saw an opportunity to partner with Alegra Motrosports and join the hunt for the GT3 Cup Challenge championship. He brings energy and passion to the series as he attends every race.
Carlos de QuesadaPresident
While attending Emory University, Carlos started driver education events with the Porsche Club of America. After college, he went to his first racing school at Skip Barber, which then led to sportscar competition in both vintage and professional racing. In 1996, he created Alegra Motorsports and has developed the fledgling team from humble roots to a powerhouse in motorsports, competing in several race series across North America and winning the 24 Hours of Daytona in 2007.
Andy GreeneTeam Manager
Born in Scotland, Andy comes from humble Scottish roots to become one of the most respected mechanics and managers in North American sports car racing. He started racing in rally cars in Scotland and moved to the United States in the 1990′s to work with several Indy car and sports car teams. Under Andy’s guidance, the Porsche Centre Oakville/Alegra Motorsport team won the Platinum Class Team Championship in the 2015 inaugural season and is looking to repeat that accomplishment this year.
Bob KnoxEngineer & Data
From Port Saint Lucie, Florida, Bob is a seasoned driver, having driven in various series from 1972-1994. He has been Alegra Motorsports data engineer for the past 9 years. Bob has an uncanny ability to interpret data acquired from the vehicles and translate that into plain English. You’ll often see his laptop on top of a GT3 loading data and making sense of it all.
Larry HahnChief Engineer
Our race engineer – Larry is responsible for ensuring the cars are optimally set up for each race. He is able to draw on his extensive motorsport background including his time with the Tom Milner’s PTG BMW factory team to ensure that each car is ready for every race.
Tony DittoCrew Chief
Our Crew Chief and the guy that keeps the GT3s moving, Tony Ditto hails from Tampa, Florida. Tony had worked on the Daytona Prototype program before moving to Alegra in 2009. He takes a no-nonsense approach and is able to tackle the most challenging issue in the paddock with limited resources.
